Welcome to Vossloh Kiepe Main Line Technology

Vossloh Kiepe Main Line Technology GmbH (VKM) is a new and independent company in which Vossloh AG has bundled its electrical engineering capabilities for the mainline rail market.
 
We develop, manufacture and market traction and onboard power converters.
 
Our systems are engineered for installation in regional railcars, commuter trains, and locomotives. We also manufacture energy supply systems for passenger rail cars.

Quality is a key ingredient of our corporate philosophy. ISO 9001 : 2008 certification was awarded in March 2010 and shortly thereafter followed by IRIS certification in July 2010. Our certificates are here.

We command wide-ranging competence in the areas of engineering design, systems engineering, electronic and controller development, as well as project management. We devise safety concepts according to EN 50126 along with the relevant hardware and software. We test developed systems on our test rig and ensure integrated obsolescence management for long-term parts availability.
